Loom knitting, as it relates to todays knitter, dates back to to around the 16th century. Most often it was called finger knitting and then a spool knitter was used.
Nowadays Looms come in a multitude of sizes and colors and the items you can create on them is just as varied, from socks to blankets, tote bags to wall art, it can be made on the loom.
